Just the Ticket Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 30, 2026

Just the Ticket is a ticket-discovery and event-registration service operated by Dahlhouse Enterprises, LLC ("Just the Ticket," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you when you use our website, ticketing services, event pages, organizer tools, and related communications (collectively, the "Services").

This is a business draft for review, not legal advice. Before publication, confirm the legal entity name, privacy-contact email, mailing address, retention periods, vendors, analytics/advertising tools, and which state-specific rights apply to the business.

1. Information we collect

### Information you provide

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • name, email address, telephone number, and account credentials or one-time verification information;
  • ticket purchaser and attendee details, including information an event organizer asks for during checkout (for example, age range, shirt size, accessibility needs, or other event-specific fields);
  • event, ticket, venue, order, payment-status, refund, check-in, and booking-history information;
  • organizer information, including organization name, contact details, payout and tax information, and event content;
  • messages sent through a contact form or to our support team; and
  • information you choose to include in reviews, event listings, photographs, or other content.

Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout, currently Stripe or PayPal depending on the transaction and configuration. We do not intend to store complete card numbers or security codes on our own systems; the exact fields retained by each provider should be confirmed against the production configuration.

### Information collected automatically

When you browse or use the Services, we may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages or events viewed, referring and exit pages, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, clicks, and diagnostic or security logs. We may use cookies, local storage, session technologies, and similar tools to keep you signed in, preserve a cart, protect the Services, remember preferences, and understand usage. The site currently uses Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Snapchat Pixel for analytics, measurement, audience-building, and advertising/remarketing purposes, subject to the configuration and choices made available on the site.

### Information from other sources

We may receive information from event organizers, payment and identity-verification providers, fraud-prevention services, analytics providers, social-login providers (if enabled), and other service providers. An organizer may provide attendee information to us to operate an event or check-in process.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • provide, maintain, personalize, and secure the Services;
  • process registrations, tickets, payments, refunds, check-in, and customer support;
  • send verification codes, order confirmations, tickets, invoices, event updates, and service notices;
  • communicate with organizers and attendees about an event;
  • detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and technical problems;
  • analyze use of the Services and improve features, performance, accessibility, and design;
  • send optional marketing where permitted by law, with an unsubscribe option; and
  • comply with law, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and protect rights and safety.

We do not use sensitive information for a new purpose unrelated to the purpose explained when it was collected without any consent required by law.

3. How we share information

We may disclose information:

  • to the event organizer and authorized event staff when needed to fulfill a registration, issue a ticket, provide event services, or check you in;
  • to payment processors, currently Stripe and PayPal, as well as email and SMS providers, hosting providers, analytics and security providers, customer-support tools, and other vendors that process information for us;
  • when you direct us to share it or when an event listing or user-submitted content is intentionally public;
  • to comply with a subpoena, court order, legal process, or government request;
  • to investigate fraud, security incidents, violations, or threats to people or property; and
  • as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.

We do not sell personal information for money. Before launch, we will confirm whether any analytics, advertising, or data-sharing feature could be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under a state privacy law.

4. Organizer and event-specific information

Just the Ticket is a marketplace and service provider for independent event organizers. An organizer may receive the information needed to run its event and may use it under its own privacy notice, including to send future marketing communications where the organizer has a lawful basis and provides any notice, consent, opt-out, and unsubscribe rights required by applicable law. Buying a ticket does not by itself guarantee that an organizer has all consent required for future marketing. Questions about an organizer's independent use of attendee information should be directed to that organizer. We expect organizers to use attendee information only for legitimate event, support, safety, marketing, and legal purposes.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Essential cookies are needed for sign-in, security, session management, checkout, and core features. Optional analytics and advertising technologies—including Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, and Snapchat Pixel—may be used for measurement, audience-building, and remarketing where enabled. Your browser can limit cookies, but some features may not work correctly. If a consent or preference tool is presented, it will explain the available choices. Before publication, we will verify the consent behavior, vendor settings, and opt-out mechanisms for these tools.

6. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including completing transactions, maintaining accounting and legal records, handling disputes, preventing abuse, and meeting event or tax requirements. Retention varies by the type of information and the event.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No website or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we determine that a legally reportable breach occurred, we will provide notices required by applicable law.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the link in the message. Service, security, transaction, and event communications may still be sent when necessary.

Depending on where you live and whether a privacy law applies to us, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of personal information, or to opt out of certain targeted advertising, sale, sharing, or profiling. You may also have the right to appeal a denied request and to receive equal service for exercising a privacy right.

To make a request, contact us using the information below and identify the request you are making. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. You may also have the right to use a recognized universal opt-out signal, such as Global Privacy Control, where required.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without legally required parental consent. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it when appropriate.

9. Third-party links and services

The Services may link to event organizers, venues, payment providers, social networks, or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this Policy.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Services, vendors, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version and update the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required.
