Just the Ticket Terms of Service
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Just the Ticket website, ticketing and registration services, event pages, organizer tools, and related communications (the "Services"). The Services are operated by Dahlhouse Enterprises, LLC ("Just the Ticket," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Services, creating an account, registering for an event, or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
This is a business draft for review, not legal advice. Before publication, confirm the legal entity, governing law, dispute process, refund policy, payment-fee treatment, organizer agreement, and required business address.
1. What Just the Ticket does
Just the Ticket provides technology and a marketplace for event organizers to list events and for attendees to discover and register for them. Unless an event page expressly says otherwise, the organizer—not Just the Ticket—is responsible for producing the event, setting its rules and prices, providing the advertised experience, admitting attendees, and issuing refunds required by the organizer's policy or applicable law.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. Keep account details accurate and protect passwords and verification codes. You are responsible for activity under your account and must notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
Guest checkout may be available. A guest order still requires accurate purchaser and attendee information and a working email address or phone number for delivery and support.
3. Tickets, orders, and event rules
An order is not complete until the Services display confirmation or send a confirmation message. Review the event date, time, location, ticket type, quantity, attendee information, fees, taxes, and total price before submitting an order. Tickets may be subject to an event's capacity, age limits, identification requirements, venue rules, transfer restrictions, and other terms shown on the event page.
You may not buy tickets for resale where prohibited, use bots or automated methods, evade limits, create duplicate accounts to bypass controls, or provide inaccurate attendee information. We may cancel or refuse orders that appear fraudulent, abusive, duplicative, or in violation of event limits or law.
4. Prices, fees, taxes, and payment
The event listing and checkout flow are intended to show the customer-facing total ticket price, including applicable service fees and taxes, before you submit an order. Any required event-specific or jurisdiction-specific disclosure will control if it provides more detail. Payment is processed by the provider displayed at checkout, currently Stripe or PayPal depending on the transaction and configuration. We may place a temporary authorization, reject a payment, or require additional verification. If payment fails or is reversed, we may cancel the order or require another payment method.
5. Cancellations, changes, refunds, and chargebacks
Each event organizer sets that event's cancellation and refund policy. Review the policy on the event page and order confirmation before purchasing. Organizers control event-specific cancellations and refunds unless Just the Ticket expressly states otherwise. Just the Ticket service fees are not refunded when an organizer approves a ticket refund, and they also remain nonrefundable if an event is canceled or postponed, except where applicable law requires otherwise or Just the Ticket expressly states otherwise. If an event is canceled, postponed, materially changed, or unable to admit you, available remedies will be described by the organizer, the event page, applicable law, and any additional notice we provide.
Do not initiate a chargeback before contacting the organizer or Just the Ticket about a disputed order, except where required to protect your rights. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account restrictions. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
6. Delivery and check-in
Tickets, invoices, verification codes, and event notices may be delivered by email, account access, text message, or another method shown at checkout. You are responsible for providing reachable contact information and checking spam or junk folders. Protect ticket links and QR codes; anyone presenting a valid ticket may be admitted according to the organizer's procedures.
7. Organizer responsibilities
Organizers must provide accurate event information, comply with applicable laws and venue requirements, honor their published ticket and refund rules, protect attendee information, and provide the event, ticket inventory, and support they advertise. Organizers may use attendee information for future marketing only when they provide any notice, consent, opt-out, and unsubscribe rights required by applicable law; a ticket purchase does not automatically establish every consent that may be required. Organizers may not list unlawful, fraudulent, discriminatory, dangerous, or infringing events or content. We may remove listings, suspend accounts, hold funds, or cooperate with authorities when necessary to protect users or comply with law.
8. Content and intellectual property
The Services, software, branding, text, designs, and features are owned by or licensed to Just the Ticket and protected by law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Services for their intended purpose.
You retain rights in content you submit, but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and promote that content as needed to operate and market the Services. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and that it does not violate law or another person's rights. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
9. Acceptable use
You may not interfere with the Services, probe or bypass security, scrape or harvest information without permission, upload malware, impersonate another person, infringe rights, harass others, manipulate event listings or reviews, or use the Services for unlawful or deceptive activity.
10. Third-party services and links
Payment processors, venues, organizers, social networks, and other third parties may provide linked services. Their terms and policies apply to their services. Just the Ticket does not control and is not responsible for third-party acts, content, availability, or policies.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free listings, ticket availability, event quality, organizer performance, venue conditions, or that an event will occur as described. We do not guarantee that the Services will meet every user's needs or that defects will always be corrected.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Just the Ticket and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, travel, or opportunity arising from or related to the Services or an event. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Just the Ticket for the transaction giving rise to the claim or $100, whichever is greater. This section does not exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Just the Ticket and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Services, unlawful conduct, or content you submit.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access, cancel orders, or remove content if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, engaged in fraud or abuse, or if doing so is necessary for legal or operational reasons. Sections that should reasonably survive termination—including payment obligations, content rights, disclaimers, limitations, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive.
15. Disputes and governing law
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at info@justtheticket.store and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. These Terms are governed by Wisconsin law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes should be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rule that gives you a different right or forum. Nothing here limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be limited. No arbitration or class-action waiver is included in this draft.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Services or law changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when required.
